August is known as Black business month and is dedicated to highlighting the importance of black businesses within our community. Here at TINA – The Tina Turner Musical, the initiative does not however end there as the company continues to shine a spotlight on a different Black-owned business each month as part of the company’s year-round initiative.

This month, we are spotlighting RUMEDII, which is a plant-based superfoods company. The founder, Gee is a determined mother and entrepreneur who launched RUMEDII for her son who suffers with Short Gut Syndrome. Last weekend, TINA was proud to celebrate Black Pride. UK Black Pride has been the world's largest celebration of African, Asian, Middle Eastern, Latin American and Caribbean-heritage LQGBTQ+ people since 2005.
